Dopamine – a neurotransmitter in the brain – is the brain’s motivation molecule and an integral part of the pleasure-reward system.

Research done by John Hopkins Medicine, based in Maryland USA, proves that music provides exercise for the brain to assist in healthy aging. Research has shown that listening to music can reduce anxiety, blood pressure, and pain as well as improve sleep quality, mood, mental alertness, and memory.
